Starting something new is so difficult in todays world- it’s too easy to put something like prepping food or going to the gym off in favour of digging in to the ever growing Netflix ā€œListā€ (mine has about 50 series on there that I keep adding to..)

Effective weight loss is the creation of a habit, and this is a habit that you should realistically be able to stick to for the rest of your life.

Not just when it’s time to go on holiday or get married…

Setting the right environment is key to that habit, because if you’re not surrounded by the right things in your work and social life- setting up a new habit will become impossible.

Your environment can depend on a few things, for instance your social group could be filled with people who have no interest in leading healthy lives and want to eat unhealthy food and drink lots of alcohol..

Or a similar one can be a job that allows very little flexibility to prepare your own meals or exercise, resulting in a lot of ā€˜grab and go’ eating during the day.

Think of the environment like the foundations on which you build a house, you don’t want any shaky or loose elements in the foundations before you start to build as the results will not last..

Whereas with a strong environment/ foundation you build something that lasts for years to come.

Think about the things in your life right now that are stopping you shape the right environment for your weight loss.
